In 2018, Kinetic Green signed a joint venture agreement with the prestigious Tonino Lamborghini in Italy to design a range of golf carts, tourism vehicles, on-road and off-road that will be made in India at the Ahmednagar plant and will be marketed globally. With this JV Kinetic Green is keenly looking to tap the global market with high-end neighbourhood electric vehicles.
While we already manufacture buggies ranging from 2-seater to 14-seater for Indian masses, the Lamborghini branded golf carts will have a premium offering with Solar and Electric powered batteries. We already have the designs ready which are made by a designer who designs Lamborghini cars. The product is still under tooling, engineering and prototyping currently.
The market of such vehicles is still very fragmented. There has not been a lot of product innovation over the last several decades in this space. We have an opportunity to introduce a product with a much differentiated design. We will be making these products, with high end technologies like hydraulic brakes, advanced suspension, and higher level of comfort and style. It will be marketed around the world under Lamborghini brand, so it will be positioned above the existing leaders in terms of brand imagery. It will be an aspirational brand, designed by Italian engineers yet at an Indian cost of manufacturing with entirely local supply chain, spare-parts all sourced from India.
Our manufacturing facility is at Ahmednagar in Maharashtra, with an assembly capacity of 6,000 electric 3-wheelers per month. It is spread over 100 acres with 30 sheds. We also have a robust in-house DSIR Recognized R&D center and our focus is on design and development of durable yet affordable range of electric vehicles with a vision to bring this technology and its benefits within the reach of common man. Manufacturing local gives us the cost-benefit and technology structure, along with the green agenda of making EVs the future of the automotive world.
We’ve been firm supporter of battery swapping option than charging, since charging in metro cities is actually a task considering the society/flat system people have there. To promote and create nationwide Battery Swapping Network, Kinetic Green entered in an agreement with Indraprastha Gas Ltd for setting up battery swapping stations. Swapping the discharged battery immediately with a charged one eliminating the delay involved in waiting for the vehicle's battery to charge, can impact significantly in the decision making of people to switch to electric. While Indraprastha will provide us with infrastructure we’ll provide the required technology for it.
Currently Kinetic Green provides mechanically superior & technologically smart product portfolio for retail, B2B and B2G customers through its nationwide network of 210+ Dealerships, and with established quality record and all required Government approvals in place. With unmatched customer care, state-of-the-art manufacturing infrastructure, robust R&D and intelligent manpower, the company continues its pioneering work to promote the green movement to electrify India’s mobility sector. We launched our two-wheeler segment in Feb 2021 with two models in 6 colors and only in few months we have a strong network spread in more than 40+ cities. We are also planning to enter the high-speed two-wheeler market soon. We launched a sprayer and fogger in 2020 during Covid crisis for sanitization purpose keeping in mind need of the hour. Recently we introduced a hopper and tipper function in our Jumbo Garbage vehicle which is one of its kinds, making it really easy to unload the collected garbage.

Third generation scion of Firodia family, Ms. Sulajja Firodia Motwani, is the Founder & CEO of Kinetic Green Energy and Power Solutions Limited. She is also the Vice-Chairperson of Kinetic Engineering Ltd.
She is often invited to steer and speak at a large number of industry forums and associations. Sulajja is an Industry nominee on the Development Council for Electrical Mobility of India from the Ministry of Heavy Industries, Co-Chairperson of Electric Vehicle Task Force at FICCI, and heads the Electric Three Wheeler mobility of SMEV (Society of Manufacturers of Electric Vehicles).
She has been a member of the National Executive Committee of CII, member of the prestigious Governing Body of CSIR (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, India), National Chairperson of FICCI Young Leaders Forum and a member of National Steering Committee of FICCI. Sulajja is on the Board of Advisors of iCreate – International Centre for Entrepreneurship & Technology, an initiative of Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi. She has been a Director on the Board of Invest India, apex Investment Promotion Agency for Government of India. Sulajja is also the Brand Ambassador for Plan International, for their “Save the Girl child” initiative
